Richard Childress Racing has earned more than 135 victories and nine NASCAR championships, including six in the NEXTEL Cup Series with the legendary Dale Earnhardt. It was the first organization to win championships in the NEXTEL Cup Series, Busch Series and Truck Series. The Fisher Cats, the Double-A Eastern League affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, is New Hampshire's only Major League affiliated baseball team.The Fisher Cats are proud to be an integral part of what makes New Hampshire a great place to work, live and play. Since the team’s inception in April of 2004, they have been dedicated to bringing affordable family entertainment to the Granite State. In 2004, the Fisher Cats won the Eastern League Championship in their first year of existence. After starting out at historic Gill Stadium in 2004, the team moved into a new park along the banks of the Merrimack River in downtown Manchester for the 2005 season, where over 350,000 people experienced the ball park. The Fisher Cats led the Eastern League with the highest percentage increase in attendance for the 2005 season.

The annual football game between the Harvard Crimson and Yale Bulldogs, broadcast on Boston’s CW, is referred to simply as The Game. The Game is played in November at the end of the football season, and the venue alternates each year between Harvard Stadium and the Yale Bowl. In 2003, the rivalry was rated the sixth-best in college athletics by Sports Illustrated On Campus (after Alabama-Auburn, Duke-North Carolina, UCLA-USC, Army-Navy, and Cal-Stanford). As of 2005, Yale leads the series, 64-50-8.
